Actualización epidemiológica del Cáncer de Ano. Factores pronósticos e incidencias.

Resumen


El presente trabajo tiene por objeto realizar una revisión de una enfermedad infrecuente como es el cáncer de ano. Se hace particular énfasis en los aspectos epidemiológicos y en los factores pronósticos. Así mismo, se incorpora un análisis descriptivo de la casuística personal de pacientes con cáncer de ano asistidos en el Servicio de Cirugía General del H.I.G. “Dr. José Penna”, en un periodo de 12 años. Se exponen, fundamentalmente, los carcinomas asentados en el canal anal, describiéndose, los carcinomas del margen anal en sus aspectos fundamentales.
